I’ve been hearing this horrible South African version of the classic Budweiser ads on radio the past couple of weeks. It’s really sad that the local distributors (Tops at Spar) couldn’t come up with something original. Basically, what they’ve done was to replace the tagline “Wassaaaap” with “Howzzzzit”. Come on people, we want new and original, especially when you’re launching something like Budweiser in a new market. I couldn’t find an example of this rip-off ad anywhere on the net, and I think that that’s a good thing.

So, to try and forget the horror I watched a couple of the original Bud ads.
